New Beginning

As the new school year starts, I find myself looking backward and forward at the same time - life feels bittersweet. I love watching my children grow, learn and become young adults, but I also long for those sweet days of a childhood now gone. I wonder where the time has gone, as two of mine now enter high school and my youngest has decided to play football this year. has gone. As they start the new school year, I want to start a new 'year' as well. I know most people look at New year's as the time to start anew, but that has always seemed cliche to me, so I am making my 'resolutions' now.
